These Ham and Cheese Pinwheels are a great addition to any dinner table. They are easy appetizers to make so will have more time to visit with everyone. These tasty bites are not just great appetizers, though.

Actually, this Ham and Cheese Pinwheel recipe works well any time. It is even perfect for a busy weeknight dinner. The kids love them! They can polish off a batch in no time flat.  Or, If you want some delicious finger food on game day, Ham and Cheese Pinwheels are just the thing. Set them out with some chips and guacamole or some Buffalo Chicken Dip and maybe some wings and enjoy the game.

Whether you need an appetizer for your holiday dinner or just some munchies on game day, this Ham and Cheese Pinwheel recipe is a super simple crowd pleaser.


  • 1 package Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Crust
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 oz sliced deli ham
  • 1 and 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water


  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • Roll out pizza crust and, using a rolling pin, roll into a 9 x 13 inch rectangle
  • Spread Dijon mustard over the pizza crust
  • Top with 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Top with ham
  • Top with remaining shredded cheese
  • Tightly roll crust from the long end
  • Slice roll into 12 slices each about 1/2 inch wide
  • Place the slices on a slightly greased baking sheet
  • Combine egg and water in a small bowl
  • Brush on the tops and sides of each slice
  • Bake 12 to 15 minutes until browned
